How to create a bootable Windows 8 USB flash drive :  If anyhow you don’t have a windows 8 installation disk or either it is damaged , then you can also use a bootable  USB pen drive to install windows 8 . The process of creating a bootable windows 8 USB flash drive is fairly easy  . However you would require a windows 8 ISO file . Once you download a Windwos 8 ISo file , you can then follow these instructions to create a bootable windows 8 USB flash drive .

Instructions to create a Bootable Windows 8 USB Flash Drive:

    • Step 1: Download rufus and run it .
    • Step 2: Plug in your USB flash drive into your computer .
    • Step 3:From Rufu’s settings , Choose NTFS as the file system.
    • Step 4: Check “ Quick format ” and ” Create extended label and icon files “
    • Step 5: Check ” Create a bootable disk using ” and click the drive icon beside it to select the windows 8 ISO file .
    • Step 6: Now click on start to create a bootable window 8 USB flash drive .
  • minutes your Windows 8 bootable  USB flash drive will be  ready for installation.
    Reboot your PC and set the bootable flash drive as a first boot priority in the bios settings . Save the bios settings to reboot once again and continue with the windows 8 installation process .
  • Note:You have to allow booting from USB devices in your BIOS settings in order to proceed further with the installation .

HOW TO BURN ISO FILES IN WINDOWS 7 WITH THE BUILT IN IMAGE BURNER


What majority of the people don’t know is that , Windows 7 has a built in image burning program . The program provides a hassle free way to burn an ISO or IMG files off your computers hard disk .

To burn an ISO or image file you need to select a ISO or IMG file , right click on it , select open with and choose windows disc image burner tool . From the popup on your screen , select the DVD burner drive and click on burn to start burning your image file to disk . Now its that’s easy to burn a file !

While there are other apps like Nero , alcohol 120% and much more for burning more sophisticated types of image files , This default built in program with windows 7 provides a easy and hassle free way to burn ISO files .

Windows 8 is a personal computer operating system developed by Microsoft as part of Windows NT family of operating systems. Development of Windows 8 started before the release of its predecessor, Windows 7, in 2009. It was announced at CES2011, and followed by the release of three pre-release versions from September 2011 to May 2012. The operating system was released to manufacturing on August 1, 2012, and was released for general availability on October 26, 2012.[4]
Windows 8 introduced major changes to the operating system's platform and user interface to improve its user experience on tablets, where Windows was now competing with mobile operating systems, including Android and iOS.[5] In particular, these changes included a touch-optimized Windows shell based on Microsoft's"Metro" design language, the Start screen (which displays programs and dynamically updated content on a grid of tiles), a new platform for developing apps with an emphasis on touchscreen input, integration with online services (including the ability to sync apps and settings between devices), and Windows Store, an online store for downloading and purchasing new software. Windows 8 added support for USB 3.0,Advanced Format hard drives, near field communications, and cloud computing. Additional security features were introduced, such as built-in antivirus software, integration with Microsoft SmartScreen phishing filtering service and support for UEFI Secure Boot on supported devices with UEFI firmware, to prevent malware from infecting the boot process.
Windows 8 was released to a mixed reception. Although reaction towards its performance improvements, security enhancements, and improved support for touchscreen devices was positive, the new user interface of the operating system was widely criticized for being potentially confusing and difficult to learn (especially when used with a keyboard and mouse instead of a touchscreen). Despite these shortcomings, 60 million Windows 8 licenses have been sold through January 2013, a number which included both upgrades and sales to OEMs for new PCs.[6]

On October 17, 2013, Microsoft released the first major update to the operating system, Windows 8.1. The update addresses some aspects of Windows 8 that were criticized by reviewers and early adopters and incorporates additional improvements to various aspects of the operating system.[7][8]

How To Make USB Bootable

1  :Open The Software and Choose advanced mode(right next to wizzard mode), select Transfer Windows Vista/2008/7/8 setup to USB drive , click create.

2  :Now in the path that says Windows setup file path click select and browse to your. iso windows image file.

Or if you have a windows dvd you can unmark the box where it says: Use my ISO, RAR, ARJ, ZIP, 7z, CAB, DNG Image or archive ; or you can even mount the .iso file using setup_magicdisc if you want , and select the mounted drive letter.

Next click run accept the terms and Conditions , you will get a message where it says the drive will be formated click ok , and than again ok . The program will start copying the windows files.
